Sayre Borough has announced that its 2024 street paving project will begin this week and run through June 18th.
Roadway milling will be completed on Fordham Street, Ellistown Road and North Hopkins Street on Wednesday, while Hemlock Road, Cedar Street, Cypress Street and Lake Street are scheduled for Thursday and Elsbree Street, Linden Street, Hayden Street, Madison Street and Desmond Street will see milling work on Friday.
Paving will be completed on Monday, June 17th and Tuesday, June 18th.
Next Monday, paving is set to take place on Desmond Street, Madison Street, Hayden Street, Linden Street, Lake Street and Elsbree Street.
On Tuesday, June 18th, Cypress Street, Cedar Street, North Hopkins Street, Hemlock Road, Ellistown Road and Forham Street will be paved.
Traffic will be delayed and detours will be used around the project area while crews are working. Motorists are encouraged to give themselves extra time when traveling to work or appointments and take an alternate route until the project is completed.
