The Sayre Business Association will hold its first-ever Sayre Sock Hop this weekend.
The community dance will be held on Saturday evening (Sept. 28) on Desmond Street in downtown Sayre.
The Pat Haggerty Dancers will perform from 5 to 6 p.m. with the community dance running from 6 to 9 p.m. with a DJ playing classic hits from the 50s and 60s.
There will also be food vendors, a photo booth, popcorn and cotton candy at the Sayre Sock Hop on Saturday evening.
