The Sayre Elks held its annual Hoop Shoot and Basketball Clinic last weekend at Athens High School.
High school coaches from Athens and Sayre as well as some varsity players helped run the clinic for all hoop shoot participants.
Six young sharpshooters would then go on to capture Sayre Elks Hoop Shoot titles and punch their tickets to districts.
Cooper Leavenworth was the 8-9 year-old boys champ, while Wesley Burgert captured the 10-11 year-old boys crown and Ethan Glielmi was the 12-13 year-old champ.
In the girls division, Morgan Robinson won the 8-9 year-old title, while Zavery Holbert was the 10-11 year-old winner and Azlyn Holbert claimed the 12-13 year-old championship.
Winners will advance to the district hoop shoot at Tamaqua High School on Jan. 25.
