A Sayre man has been sentenced to state prison time following a domestic violence incident in 2024.
According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 33-year-old Shawn G. Palmer was sentence to 7 to 48 months in state prison for the misdemeanor offense of terroristic threats in the first degree.
According to police, Palmer’s girlfriend was trying to break up with him and leave the residence in November of last year when he threatened to burn the house down with her inside. During the incident, Palmer set a mattress on fire.
