A Sayre man will be spending 15 months to four years in state prison after being convicted in Bradford County Court.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, 47-year-old Travis Lattimer was found guilty of attempting to elude a police officer, a felony in the third degree.

Lattimer fled from police on a motorcycle throughout the Valley back in April of last year. The chase ended when Lattimer crashed his motorcycle and had to be taken to the hospital for treatment.

The sentence also includes a sentence on a conviction for Evading Arrest or Detention on Foot. In that case, Latimer was pulled over in Sayre Borough in October of 2023 on Plain Street but then abandoned the vehicle and waded across Milltown Creek with his dog before being apprehended by authorities.
