The team from Sayre High School will be heading to the Scholarship Challenge finals after an impressive performance on Saturday.
Sayre took down Grace Christian Academy in its first match, while Canton beat Sullivan County.
In the final match of the day, Sayre picked up the win over Canton to punch their ticket to the Scholarship Challenge finals on March 15th.
The third round of the award-winning quiz show will be held this Saturday with teams Newark Valley, Owego, Tioga Central and Towanda set to hit the stage at the Sayre Theatre.
One of those four teams will join Notre Dame and Sayre in the finals on March 15th.
All rounds begin at 10 am and can be heard live on all Radigan Media stations and on the My Hometown Today app.
