Motorcycles will roar through Bradford County Saturday to raise money for the Tunnels to Towers Foundation.
The John Wampfler Memorial Motorcycle Dice Run is being held by Tanner’s Bar and Grill. Wampfler, a veteran of Operation Desert Storm who passed away in 2022, is owner Ryan Wood’s cousin. Wood called Wampfler a true patriot.
The ride will make stops at the Troy VFW, Black Walnut American Legion in Laceyville, then the AM Vets in Towanda before returning to Athens Township.
Registration starts at 9 a.m., with kickstands up at 10 a.m.
There will also be a cornhole tournament at 2 p.m., along with a 50/50 drawing, basket raffles, a live auction, and a bake sale. Dinners will be available to purchase.
The non-profit Tunnels to Towers Foundation was created in memory of Stephen Siller, a firefighter who lost his life during the 9-11 attacks. The foundation honors the sacrifices made by fallen and catastrophically injured first responders and veterans by supporting their families.
