A Towanda couple is facing felony charges after they allegedly broke into The Daily Review office building in Towanda and stole thousands of dollars worth of items.
According to the newspaper, more than $8,500 worth of items were stolen from the office building on Main Street. The items stolen included a laptop, 13 checks totaling nearly $6,000, an employee’s birth certificate, two tables, and a mini fridge.
Thirty-six year old Harley Jean Shores and her boyfriend, 27-year-old Adam Warner Mills, have been charged with felony counts of burglary, theft by unlawful taking, criminal trespassing and receiving stolen property.
The suspects were remanded to the Bradford County Jail on $50,000 bail.
