Towanda drug dealer convicted in Bradford County

A Towanda man has been convicted of 23 charges after he sold drugs to a confidential informant nine times over several months between 2021 and 2022.

According to the Bradford County District Attorney’s Office, a jury found 63-year-old Leslie John Bailey guilty of nine counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a felony, and nine misdemeanor counts of a controlled substance, as well as five counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

The jury deliberated for less than an hour before bringing back the guilty verdict.

District Attorney Richard Wilson said Bailey was selling drugs out of his home in Towanda Borough.

The Bradford County Drug Task Force, Towanda Borough Police Department and Troy Borough Police Department worked on the investigation.
