TOWANDA — Just days after announcing they would have to cancel the 2024 Towanda Riverfest due to a lack of available amusement rides, organizers posted some good news on Facebook.
The Facebook post read:
“Attention all! An amazing ride carnival company has reached out to us with the available dates of June 20th-22nd for The 2024 Riverfest! We have decided to accept these dates! This is extremely probable to be happening. As of now, a contract has not been signed, but a verbal agreement and a booking has been made. The date change will only be for this year, as we will be looking to schedule this company for our normal dates. Great rides and great prices! We will be updating the public as we receive more information. Thank you to all!”
