The Towanda Junior/Senior Student Council recently organized a care package for Towanda High School graduate Jordan Dawsey, who is currently deployed in Iraq serving in the United States Army.
Jordan graduated from Towanda High School in 2012. Since then, Jordan has served in the military for 12 years and is currently a captain in the US Army.
Jordan was deployed overseas in July and will be stationed in Iraq for 9 months.
In a Facebook post, the Towanda School District said, “on behalf of the Towanda Student Council, we are proud and thankful for Jordan’s service.”
