The Valley Christmas Tournament will be back at full strength this year.
Last year, the event only had a boys tournament due to some girls teams deciding not to participate.
The 2024 girls tournament will feature Athens, Sayre, Waverly and Norwich in the varsity division and Athens, Waverly, Tioga and Norwich in the JV field.
The boys tournament will have Athens, Sayre, Waverly and Tioga for both JV and varsity.
The tournament kicks off on Thursday, Dec. 26 with Athens hosting Waverly, and Sayre hosting Tioga and Norwich.
The varsity consolation games will be held at Sayre on Friday, Dec. 27 with Athens hosting the JV consolation and championship games.
The varsity championship games will be held on Saturday, Dec. 28 at Sayre High School.
Choice 102 will broadcast the Athens-Waverly games on opening night and then both the varsity consolation and championship games next Friday and Saturday.
