The annual Valley Memorial Day Parade will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in downtown Athens.
This year’s parade theme is Unsung Heroes and it’s being hosted by the Athens American Legion Post 246.
The 2024 Valley Memorial Day Parade will honor those in the military who have worked behind the scenes, including medics, nurses, mechanics and more.
The parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Satterlee Street and conclude at the Stephen Foster Memorial Park in front of the Spalding Memorial Library on South Main Street in Athens.
