The Wellsboro Green Hornets took home the 2024 Middle School Scholarship Challenge title last weekend at the Sayre Theatre.
With the 44th annual high school Scholarship Challenge taking a week off, the middle school teams took center stage. In the end, Wellsboro took down Spencer-Van Etten to bring home the title.
Teams from Athens, Northeast Bradford, Tioga, Spencer-Van Etten, Wyalusing, Sullivan County and Wellsboro were in action on Saturday in the middle school competition.
The high school Scholarship Challenge now heads into its final round this Saturday, March 16th at the Sayre Theatre. Teams from Newark Valley, Northeast Bradford, Grace Christian Academy and Towanda will compete for the coveted Kwasnaski Cup.
The final round can be heard starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday on all Radigan Media Stations.
