The Wellsboro Hornets captured the 2025 Middle School Scholarship Challenge title on Saturday.
Wellsboro took down Spencer-Van Etten in the finals at the Sayre Theatre to bring home the middle school championship for the second straight year.
Teams from Athens, Grace Christian Academy, Northeast Bradford, Sayre, Tioga, Waverly and Wyalusing also competed in the annual event.
The high school challenge will wrap up this Saturday with the finals. Northeast Bradford, Notre Dame, Sayre and Towanda will be battling it out for the coveted Kwasnoski Cup.
The 2025 Scholarship Challenge finals will begin at 10 a.m. and can be heard live on all Radigan Media stations and the My Hometown Today app.
