Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a burglary in progress in Whitney Point.
Three suspects were taken into custody after breaking in a front door of an apartment at 6277 Main St. in Whitney Point; they had removed about $1000 in property.
Arrested were Andrew Hackel, 18, of Whitney Point, Brent D. Taft, 17, of Lisle and Adam J. McMahon,19, of Cortland.
All suspects are now in the Broome County jail; no bail has yet been set.
