A 13-year-old was struck by a car at the intersection of Monroe Street and Jefferson Avenue in Endicott on Tuesday evening.
According to police, an e-bike being operated by a 13-year-old was struck by a SUV traveling on Monroe Street in Endicott at around 7:40 pm.
According to WBNG-TV, witnesses at the scene reported that the juvenile did not stop at a stop sign before proceeding into the intersection.
The teenager was transported to Wilson Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured.
The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
