An 18-year-old Binghamton resident has been arrested for attempted murder following an incident on Sunday.
Binghamton Police responded to Chenango Street at around 2 a.m. for a report of shots fired. When officers arrived, they determined a 16-year-old male victim had sustained gunshot wounds to his arm.
The investigation revealed that Danny Wilkins, Jr. had shot the victim inside the home on Chenango Street.
The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
