A woman, who has appealed twice over a Broome County conviction on sex crimes, has apparently won again, according to a state appellate court. The higher court ruled this month in a case involving Samantha Stone. The Court ruled to reverse the judgment of conviction and dismiss the original indictment as jurisdictionally defective. Stone had been accused of sex crimes. She appealed once and won. Her second appeal was apparently also successful.
