BC Legislator Appointed Town Of Union Justice

Broome County District 8 legislator, John Black resigned after accepting the appointment to serve as Town of Union Justice. Black’s appointment will become effective Nov. 18. He was appointed to replace Tom Dellapenna. He resigned on September 30 to become a manger of Risk and Insurance for Broome County. Broome County is now looking to appoint a replacement to the County Legislature. The appointment must live within District 8 and is registered in the same political party as the former Legislator. For this appointment, the person must be a Republican. Any interested Republicans within District 8 may send a cover letter and resume to the Broome County Republican Committee.
