A benefit was held over the weekend in support of a local teenager who is recovering after he suffered a spinal cord injury in a swimming accident back in June.
The third rendition of Down with the Sickness was held on Sunday afternoon at Touch of Texas in Binghamton in support of 17-year-old AJ Presto.
Down with the Sickness is run by Brian Fish and Christopher Walsh, who brought bands together to help raise money for the Chenango Valley High School senior.
A Go Fund Me page has been set up under Presto Strong, which is also the name of a Facebook group with over 7,000 members who are supporting AJ in his recovery.
