A Binghamton firefighter was injured while fighting a blaze at a vacant multi-family home on Wednesday night.
The fire occurred at a home that was boarded up on Vine Street in Binghamton.
Firefighters used saws to get into the house and searched the building.
The fire was knocked down in about 20 minutes, but one firefighter did sustain minor injuries during the incident.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
