A Binghamton man was arrested after he allegedly robbed a convenience store on Sunday.
According to WBNG-TV, 46-year-old Nigel Cooper entered the Runway Food Mart on Main Street with a knife and tried to leave with items from the store.
The clerk attempted to stop Cooper from leaving the store and that is when the suspect allegedly displayed the weapon.
Cooper was later found on Walnut Street and taken into custody. Police said he had the knife and items from the store with him at the time of his arrest.
Cooper has been charged with burglary in the first degree. He was remanded to the Broome County Jail.
