A Binghamton man was arrested after he allegedly fired a gun into the apartment of his former girlfriend on Friday, July 17th in Johnson City.
According to Johnson City Police, 46-year-old Grady Hunter Jr. went to the residence of his former girlfriend and engaged in an altercation with a male at the residence before displaying a gun.
The suspect then allegedly fired the gun into the apartment and fled in an unknown direction.
Hunter was located on Sunday driving a vehicle on Main Street in Johnson City. A traffic stop was conducted, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
Hunter was charged with attempted murder in the second degree, a Class B felony; criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, a Class C felony; and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree, a Class D felony.
