A Binghamton man was sentenced to seven years in a New York State Prison after he hit a female victim with a metal baseball bat.
According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, Josie Valdes-Pica was also sentenced to five years of post-release supervision for attempted assault in the first degree, assault in the second degree and assault in the third degree.
In November of 2022, Valdes-Pica struck a female victim multiple times with a metal baseball bat.
The case was investigated by the Binghamton Police Department.
