A Binghamton man pleaded guilty in the middle of his trial for a brutal assault on Tuesday.
According to the Broome County District Attorney’s Office, 44-year-old Jerry T. Green admitted to beating another man with a metal pipe on Sept. 27, 2024.
Green pleaded guilty to felony assault. He is expected to receive a six-year sentence in a New York State Prison followed by five years of post-release supervision.
Green will be sentenced on Sept. 12.
