Binghamton Police Chief Joseph Zikuski has been placed on administrative leave following an incident involving his girlfriend in Johnson City on Friday.

A viral video shows Zikuski’s girlfriend arguing with a homeowner’s 16-year-old son and his 18-year-old friend. She is seen marching onto her neighbor’s porch and appears to hit one of the teenagers.

She was then shoved to the ground, and Zikuski picked her up and took her off the neighbor’s property.

Johnson City Police responded to the scene, but no charges were immediately filed.

The homeowner filed a formal report the following day. She posted the video on her Facebook page.

Binghamton Mayor Jared Kraham announced that Zikuski has been placed on administrative leave pending a review of the incident.
