Binghamton Police investigating shooting that injured 16-year-old boy

The Binghamton Police Department is investigating a shooting that left one teenager injured.

Police responded to a report of a male with a gunshot wound on Susquehanna Street at around 11:20 p.m. on Sunday.

Officers found a 16-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his thigh. The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

According to WBNG-TV, police did not have a suspect as of Monday. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
