Police were called to a fight at the Binghamton High School Tuesday.
School officials say two female students got into a fight in the main cafeteria around 11am. One of the students had to be taken to the hospital for minor injuries while the other was taken into custody by one of the school’s security officers.
The BHS principal says the fight was broken up quickly due to a fast response from school staff members. He attributes the quick response to the crisis management training that everyone was required to attend over the summer. If you remember, a large food fight at the school in June resulted in several injuries, arrests and suspensions.
