The second finalist to be the next Binghamton University president was on campus Monday.
Dr. Susan Jeffords is currently the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University of Washington-Bothell. She has been recognized for her efforts to double campus enrollment and develop new initiatives in several areas.
The first finalist, Gary Miller, was on campus Thursday. He is the Provost and Vice President for academic affairs and research at Wichita State University.
The other three finalists will be in town over the next week.
The search committee hopes to make their final recommendation by the end of the month.
Peter Magrath has been serving as BU’s Interim President since Lois DeFleur retired in the summer.
