The fourth anniversary of the American Civic Association shootings was recognized yesterday. Dozens gathered in front of the ACA for a moment of silence and prayers for the victims. 13 people were killed in 2009 when a gunman walked into the ACA on Front Street in Binghamton and opened fire. A memorial is being constructed at the corner of Clinton and Front Streets in Binghamton. A dedication ceremony is expected sometime this spring.
