A bar on the South Side of Binghamton has had its liquor license revoked. The New York State Liquor Authority listed twenty violations committed by the licensee of the Rock B. Tavern from May of 2009 through May of last year. Nine of the violations were for allowing the bar to become disorderly through an altercation or assault. Under state law, the current licensee of the bar will have to wait for a period of two years before a liquor license can be reissued. The owner of the bar has had it listed for sale since the beginning of 2013, asking for about $170,000.
