Volunteers from the Southern Tier Chapter of the American Red Cross are providing aid to the victims of a fire on Phelps Street in the City of Binghamton.
Two adults were burned out of their apartment and are receiving financial assistance for food, clothing and shoes.
The Red Cross is also providing them with shelter for the next several days.
The resident of another apartment impacted by the fire was out of town.
When she returns, the Red Cross will provide assistance to her as needed.
