Quick actions by a Binghamton Double Tree employee saved the life of a six-week-old infant. A guest on her way home to Maine was staying in the hotel when her daughter started choking. She rushed the baby girl downstairs to the lobby when hotel employee Amanda Kelly sprung into action, quickly flipping the girl upside-down dislodging the blockage. The baby immediately started crying to everyone’s relief. Kelly says she has children of her own and is trained in basic first aid. The infant was checked out at Wilson Hospital as a precaution.
