Binghamton Man Arrested for Marijuana Growing Operation

Members of the Broome County Special Investigations Unit have arrested Corey Wilson, 29, of Binghamton on drug and weapons charges.
Wilson was arrested after a search at his residence revealed a marijuana growing operation in his basement.
The grow operation was dismantled and the following items were recovered as evidence:
Approximately 8 ounces of marihuana, several plants, approximately $1,200.00, scales, growing apparatus and two large capacity ammunition magazines.
Wilson was charged with Criminal Possession of Marihuana, Criminal Possession of a Weapon and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Wilson is being held in City Lock-up pending an arraignment in City Court.
