Binghamton Man Arrested on Felony Heroin Charges

William Holzman, 63, of Binghamton was arrested Friday on felony drug charges.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit made the arrest on North Street in Binghamton after Investigator’s discovered 100 bags of heroin in his possession.
After a search of his residence police recovered an additional 322 bags of heroin, 112 Methadone pills, packaging material, and approximately $1,300.00.
Holzman was charged with two counts of felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, one count of misdemeanor Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance and one count of misdemeanor Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia in the Second Degree.
Holzman was arraigned in City Court and remanded to the custody of the Broome County Jail.
