Binghamton Man Arrested On Parole Warrant

A Binghamton man wanted on a felony parole warrant was arrested during a routine traffic stop.
Broome County Sheriff’s deputies pulled over a vehicle for a traffic violation Sunday on Pearl Street in Endwell. Deputies say the passenger in the vehicle, 46-year-old Matthew Washington said he didn’t have an ID and gave the name and birth date of his brother because he was wanted on a parole warrant for felony narcotic sales. Washington was also carrying a knife. The driver of the vehicle was ticketed and released. Washington has been charged with criminal impersonation, possession of a weapon, and a felony parole warrant. He is currently being held at the Broome County Jail.
