The New York State Police and the Vestal Police Department arrested two people for the possession of cocaine, heroin, ecstacy and loaded weapons in the City of Binghamton.
Police arrested Shamar Grant, 29, and Amber Graves, 24, both of Binghamton, after a search warrant was executed at their residence.
The search was the result of month long investigation into cocaine sales and possession in Broome County.
State Troopers and Vestal Police were assisted with the search warrant by the Endicott Police Department.
During the search, police discovered two loaded handguns: a .40 caliber semi-automatic and a .38 caliber revolver; as well as approximately twenty-one (21) grams of cocaine, eight (8) grams of heroin, over one-hundred ecstasy tablets, drug scales and packaging material, and $2,500.00 in U.S. currency.
Grant was charged with two counts of felony Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance, two felony counts of Criminal Possession of a weapon, as well as several misdemeanor charges
Graves was also charged with felony drug and weapons offenses.
Both Grant and Grave were arraigned in the Town of Union Court and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
