Binghamton Police Arrest Man in Several Church Burglaries

On 7/23/2019, Binghamton Police Detectives arrested 21 year-old Skuyler Reynolds of River Road, Binghamton, and charged him with Burglary in the Third Degree and Grand Larceny Third Degree, in relation to a Burglary that occurred on 07/20/2019 at 4 Floral Ave., at First Presbyterian Church of Johnson City, which despite its name is located in The City of Binghamton. Reynolds is suspected of burglarizing multiple churches over several days in the City of Binghamton and the Broome County area.


Reynolds was taken into custody at a River Road residence by Binghamton Police Detectives. Detectives later executed a search warrant at the residence and several items related to the recent burglaries were recovered. Binghamton Police were assisted with the search warrant by he Broome County Sheriff’s Office, New York State Police, and Johnson City Police Department — all had active burglary investigations. Further charges are expected.
