Binghamton Police Bust Caribbean Bar & Grill for Serving Drinks and Food

On Thursday, March 19, at approximately 10:05 p.m., Binghamton Police Officers responded to a complaint of patrons consuming alcohol and food at Caribbean Patty World at 188½ Main St., Binghamton.

Members of the Binghamton Police Department Community Response Team (CRT) conducted a compliance check at the location, under Governor Cuomo’s Executive Order No. 202.3, which states any restaurant or bar in the state of New York shall cease serving patrons food or beverages on-premises effective at 8:00 p.m. on March 16, 2020, and until further notice shall only serve food or beverages for off premises consumption.

Binghamton Police Officers observed patrons drinking alcohol at the bar. All patrons were told to leave. The incident has been referred to the New York State Liquor Authority.
