The City of Binghamton has published the latest list of water accounts facing service shut-off.
The accounts are from the West Side, the latest water billing district whose bills are due.
A total of 285 properties are on this list.
Together, the accounts amount to $224,627.47 in delinquent bills.

Important Dates
· The West Side water bills were issued on March 7th and due April 22nd.
· On April 26th, the City sent a letter notifying those with delinquent accounts that their accounts would be publicized if they failed to make the necessary payment by May 9th.
· For all accounts that remain unpaid and meet the shut-off criteria, shut-off notices will be sent out on May 18th.
· Final date to pay to avoid interruption of water service is Friday, June 3rd.
· Shutoffs will begin on Monday, June 6th.
Paying Delinquent Water Bills
Those responsible for these accounts may still pay their delinquent bills to avoid an interruption of their water service. Payment may be made through the online payment system on the City’s website or at the Office of the Treasurer, whose office hours for payment are 8:15am—4:00pm and whose address is below. To come off the shut-off list, payment must be in-full.
