On Wednesday March 20, the Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at 93 Walnut St. in Binghamton. Investigators recovered:
- Approximately 12 grams of Cocaine
- Approximately 11 grams of MDMA
- Drug Packaging Materials
- $583 in suspected drug sale proceeds
Investigators charged Jack Whitehead and Nicole Brown. Both were arraigned and remanded to the custody of the Broome County Correctional Facility.
Arrestee #1: Jack Whitehead, 39, Binghamton
- 4 counts – Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (intent to sell) – a class B Felony
- 3 counts – Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd – a class B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (hallucinogenic substance) – a class B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (more than 1/8 ounce) – A class C Felony
- Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd – a class A Misdemeanor
Arrestee: #2: Nicole Brown, 39, Binghamton
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (intent to sell) – a class B Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 4th (more than 1/8 ounce) – A class C Felony
- Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd (hallucinogenic substance) – a class B Felony
- Criminally Using Drug Paraphernalia 2nd – a class A Misdemeanor
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force is comprised of members of the City of Binghamton Police Department, Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the Village of Endicott Police Department and the Village of Johnson City Police Department. The Task Force was assisted by the Binghamton Police Patrol Division and Community Response Team (CRT).
