Binghamton Senators Win the Calder Cup

The Binghamton Senators have won the AHL Calder Cup with a 3 -2 win over the Houston Aeros in Houston.
This is the first championship for Binghamton.
The B-Sens scored first with a goal by Roman Wick at 2:28 of the second period.
The Aeros scored twice before Bobby Butler tied the game, 2-2 with a power play goal at 3:26 of the third.
Ryan Keller gives the Senators the lead for good with a score at 9:09 of the third period.
Goalie Robin Lehner was named MVP.
Lehner stopped a Bud Holloway penalty shot by Manchester in OT of Game 6, first round, which would have eliminated the B-Sens.
Binghamton plans a parade in the Senators honor at 6PM on Wednesday.
The parade will be proceeding from the Main/Arthur Street intersection to the Washington/Stuart Street intersection ending in front of the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena where the Mayor’s Office will host a press conference.
