One Binghamton club has been busy wrapping gifts for those in need. Tuesday, members of the Binghamton Sertoma Club donated gifts to three families through the “Adopt a Family Drive.”
Members taped, wrapped, and signed notes from Santa on dozens of gifts. The club raised more than $33,000 to buy everything from pots and pans to toys for local families. This marks the 20th year of the event. The Sertoma Club supports Camp Sertoma through the boys and girls club. The group also helps those with hearing, speech and language impairments. This is the largest number of families to receive gifts from the club since the fundraiser’s inception.
