Binghamton University will host the Southern Tier Science Olympiad competition on Saturday, February 12th on the University campus.
Hundreds of area high school students representing more than 12 schools will compete in a day-long series of contests designed to test their knowledge in diverse fields such as chemistry, cell biology, structural engineering, astrophysics and mathematics.
A total of 20 different events will test students’ engineering and scientific skills.
The sessions will be held in locations across campus such as the Old Union Hall, Science Library classrooms, and Science II laboratories.
