Broome County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Binghamton woman who tried to steal a brand new snow blower from a business in the Town of Union Monday evening. 35-year old Summer Reynolds stole an Ariens snow blower worth about $600 and a short time later tried to return it for the cash. The store wouldn’t accept it and later a surveillance video showed that she had originally left the store without paying for the machine. She and a friend assisting her were pushing it down the street when confronted by the authorities. Reynolds was charged with criminal possession of stolen property, a misdemeanor. Police did not charge the friend.
