Binghamton Woman Charged with Fraudulent Buys

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division has arrested 25-year-old Kierstin M. Furch of Binghamton. She is accused of using another person’s personal information to make fraudulent purchases from Amazon, according to Broome detectives.


Furch was charged with:

  • one count of Identity Theft in the Second Degree, a Class E Felony;
  • one count of Identity Theft in the Third Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor;
  • two counts of Petit Larceny, Class A Misdemeanors.

Furch was released on appearance tickets to return to the Town of Dickinson Court at a later date.
