Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park to Hold Volunteer Open House

The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park will be holding an open house Thursday, March 3rd from 6:00pm to 7:30pm and Saturday, March 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm for all those interested in volunteering opportunities at the Binghamton Zoo.
The open house will take place in the Education Center located in the lower parking lot next to the carousel.
Volunteers are needed for special events, Zoomobile education programs, on-site education, gardening, and maintenance.
Live animals from the Zoomobile will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served.
Volunteers play a vital role in fulfilling the zoo’s mission of, “Promoting awareness and preservation of our natural heritage and improvement of the quality of life in our community.”
There are fun and exciting opportunities for all interests whether they are working with the public or behind the scenes, plants or animals, independently or in groups, weekly or a few times a year.
