Broadus Reaches Book Deal

Former Binghamton University men’s basketball coach Kevin Broadus will write a book.
The controversial figure spent just over three years at Binghamton University after he was hired as the head coach in 2007. He led the basketball team to the America East Championship in his second season.
Just months later, the program went into turmoil after one player was arrested for drug possession and five others were kicked off the team. Broadus was finally suspended after admitting that he improperly talked to a recruit.
He filed a discrimination complaint, which was withdrawn when Broadus agreed to a $1.2 million settlement with BU and the State University of New York.
Broadus left the campus when the settlement was reached. There is no word on what will be in the book.
