Binghamton University has narrowed down their presidential search to five candidates.
The five unidentified finalists will each get to spend a day on campus, starting Thursday, to meet with college staff and faculty. The committee will meet the week of Dec. 20 to prepare their final recommendations.
Each of the five finalists was selected from a larger poll of applicants.
The university is looking to have a permanent president in place by the summer.
Peter Magrath has been filling in on an interim basis since Lois DeFleur retired earlier this year.
